Semi naked cakes can look easy, but sometimes when there is less decoration it leaves more room to see even the smallest of errors.

This workshop is perfect for a beginner decorator or even a seasoned pro that just wants to get the basics right. No more sleepless nights wondering if your cake will make the delivery or withstand hours of being on display in the heat.

Christina Blaby from @BoutiqueCakeArt covers it all from levelling, filling, doweling and stacking. She answers all your questions that have been keeping you up at night. Why are my cakes always wonky? Why do they move on the board during transit? How do I patch ice gaps when my cake is stacked? Just to name a few.

During this class Christina will also share what tools she swears by and packing techniques she uses when delivering multiple tiered cakes. It’s a real GAME CHANGER!

What you will learn:

  • Leveling, filling, stacking and doweling a 2 tier cake: 6inch round height 6inches and 4inch round height 6inches (This two tier ain’t moving, anywhere!)
  • Buttercream whitening (No, yellow tones here!)
  • Masking your cake with buttercream- (Getting a neat looking semi naked finish, not Crummey and messy)
  • Wiring, taping and arranging flowers (What flowers to use and those to avoid)
  • How to package a multiple tiered cake for transport
