Yes, Kate and Dave sure do know how to throw a party. It helps when you have rad creative friends to bring it home.

What Christmas party isn't complete without a glittery disco ball to kiss under. Or was that tinsel?. Nope, I'm pretty sure that was a disco ball.

If the disco balls didn't loosen up the night Fat & Skinny Catering sure did with their platters of balls and dip. That's vegan Lentil balls and homemade Tzatziki.

What Christmas party isn’t complete without a glittery disco ball to kiss under. Or was that mistletoe? Nope, I’m pretty sure that was a disco ball. It all looked so amazing. You can tell the crew at The Good Day Club do this for a living. Hanging overhead was pretty fringed material, potted plants and of course tinsel for that bedazzled Christmas look.
If the disco balls didn’t loosen the night up Fat & Skinny Catering sure did the trick with their platters of balls and dip. That’s vegan Lentil balls and homemade Tzatziki you dirty minded people. We’re professionals!
Served generously on Betty May Vintage wares, because we are fancy and grown up as hell.
To finish the night. We brought cake! Yes, Glittery cake. The flavours; Chocolate Ripple (with peppermint crisp!) and Pavlova. Yum! If we do say so ourselves.

Oh and those Gorgeous flowers you see in the background. Yes, They are Good Grace and Humours’ handy work. We were also lucky enough to have the rad Gold and Grit taking amazing shots from the day.

High Tea- with Betty May Vintage. https://theflourshopacademy.com.au/2019/07/01/high-tea-with-betty-may-vintage/ https://theflourshopacademy.com.au/2019/07/01/high-tea-with-betty-may-vintage/#respond Mon, 01 Jul 2019 05:59:24 +0000 https://theflourshopacademy.com.au/?p=6383 The style brief for this high tea was feminine flower tones, antique crystal, fine bone china and silver accents.

With that in mind came this beauty. Totally customised for the occasion with its dusty pink hues and aged cracked textured finish. A technique called base relief was also introduced. This is where you see the floral work raised on the base and top edge of the cake. This further reinforces that stone look. A perfect pairing sitting high on a worn antique dresser.
